And for those looking to unwind in a more casual manner, the newly opened pool club area adds a fun twist to the Paperhills experience.

“ Beautiful views and a great spot to chill. Descent food and friendly staff. The washrooms could use some cleaning. But other than that you will not be disappointed. Great for social media posts and content as well. Plenty of parking but it does fill up quite quickly. One of the better spots on the main strip. ”
“ queue about 30 mins to get a seat. the setting of the photo spot was absolutely stunning. the staff was also kind and help us to take photo. the food also tasty, refreshing drinks. perfect place to unwind. beautiful. ”
“ Lovely restaurant facing Mt. Batur and the big lake. It’s a big place with several levels to explore. I find the middle level offers the best views. Best to arrive early to watch the changing colours of the sky at sunset. Food was good generally. A must try is the tauhu goreng. Green curry duck was done well and the duck meat is tasty. ”
“ A beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere! We were attracted by the reviews and beautiful photos we found on Google Maps. The place is located right by the road. Finding a parking space is easy. The views are breathtaking, and the service is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and served with attention to every detail. The place is quite large, and you can always choose a seat. Perfect for relaxing and spending time in a unique atmosphere with a glass of something good. I'd love to come back! ”
“ Arguably the best cafe to watch the sunrise with an amazing view, good food, good service and it definitely was not busy when we arrived at 5.30 am up until we left at 8 am. The view kept changing through the hours and at every seating area in the restaurant, you were guaranteed a good view. Apparently they’ve also just opened up a pool club area just earlier this month, but since we were there for the sunrise, we didn’t look into it. But it did look very promising with, once again, great views! The food and drink were really good. We ordered the Wild Mushroom and the Shakshuka baked eggs. I highly recommend the wild mushroom! Coffee (flat white and long black) and hot chocolate were good too with oat and almond milk vegan options. The plain croissant hit as well! Good prices as well. I highly recommend stopping by! ”
